Hello community, thank you for joining #MorpheusLabs October Version of the AMA session! If you’ve joined us in our previous community AMA, welcome back to another edition of AMA; in which our core team will answer some of the most commonly asked questions about Morpheus Labs.

Will Morpheus Labs continue to survive during this bear market? Is the token recovery strategy helping Morpheus survive and tide through this period?

Thank you for your concern and support. Please note that my answers are purely from my own perception and angle. Many tech companies are reducing headcount especially blockchain / crypto projects. Infact a few projects have stopped operation or on much reduce workforce in the past few months. 

For Morpheus Labs, we have been very careful in our financial planning since the start. This is to ensure that we are able to weather unforeseen global circumstances. Our token strategy, especially last year’s tokenomics, was a very carefully thought-through strategic plan. Through calculated recovery, this has allowed us to a great extend;

  • Hire team members & add on to the talent pool EVEN in worsening market conditions
  • R&D on our core product
  • Engage, design & develop campaigns for developers and community
  • Organize hackathons, seminars for stakeholders
  • Increase business development and customers-oriented product enhancement activities

Coupled with the talents we recently acquired, such as Mr Arron, we are able to improve our Business Development team through the strategic token recovery.

Strategic token recovery > Hire great talent (BD) > Stronger Team > Acquired Customers > More Revenue $$

The cycle continues and through our Morpheus Labs ecosystem, this leads to healthy growth of the company as a whole, even during such markets. Therefore, our strategic token recovery is in fact helping Morpheus Labs weather, maintain & grow through all kinds of market conditions.

Do Morpheus Labs have more partnership and announcements coming up? Late last year, Morpheus seems to be on the rise

Yes, we will announce more partnerships, customers on boarding, community and ecosystem related updates in the pipelines. For now, we are actively focusing on new partnerships, which relates to customers. Morpheus Labs is currently working with more brands which can only be released once further details are available for public release. 

As Morpheus Labs customers are real-life customers with solid foundations, we would require multiple rounds of due diligence from both parties to ensure the integrity of the partnership. This is how much our esteem partners and Morpheus Labs hold in regards when establishing quality, beneficial mutual relationships. 

One such example is PingCap – recently announced. This deal was signed in MOU many many months back but because of the layers of process, the announcement was only recently released. Such a process varies from parties. Some more common due diligence includes the following:

  • has to go through multiple legal partners, 
  • The need fordue d on profile of the directors and company
  • Financial stability & liquidity
  • Core team and the talents 
  • Tandem of workflow synergy especially in areas of cross-realm collaboration
  • Stress-test scenarios 
  • and more hence it takes longer time to have a joint announcement 

To summarize, yes our team is actively onboarding quality partners and customers on a regular basis. Morpheus Labs focuses on quality and mutual benefits of (and for) our partners & customers

When can we see a new roadmap of Morpheus Labs in the public?

We are currently running the existing roadmap here https://morpheuslabs.io/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Roadmap2022-23.pdf The roadmap is already a renewed one. We are almost in line with the roadmap. Example we are almost done the necessary for SEED Expanding Decentralized & Phase II Dev Community , specifically all about running the development community program in final phase , same for ñ Integrating Cloud Native services to support Web3 blockchain development e.t.c. 

As this roadmap is already ambitious , instead of creating new one, our approach is to capture feedback from real use and reintroduce these in the roadmap based on the  epics/stories received.

Moreover , in  order to increase the underlying utility, ML SEED will become more decentralized providing web3 development tools only based onb wallet and MITx token

What advice will the co-founders give to projects intending to startup during this current market situation.

Answer

Just share some personal views based on observations and our own engagements in the current market situation. 

Regardless of the bearing market, more and more businesses  are exploring and creating opportunities to transform web2 to web3; various new ventures creating new business models leveraging NFT and Metaverse. 

Both challenges and opportunities exist in a bear market. Fundraising is more challenging, as investors are more cautious, and have higher expectations. However, we see this as an opportunity for startup projects where they can spend more time to research and get the fundamentals of the projects right, to be able to solve real problems or bring real benefits to society and communities or create advanced technologies for the next generation of internet. We all believe that there are a lot of opportunities ahead for Web3 startups,  the work and effort spent will get paid back.

When is the new Morpheus Labs (MITX) staking going live?

The new MITx staking campaign is a part of the plan to grow the ML SEED developer community. With the campaign the SEED developer community can get additional rewards and enjoy more and longer utility using ML SEED. Last but not least the staking is open to everyone including our MITx community.

The staking campaign is under testing and is expected to go live in mid of October.

ML SEED is a platform that simplifies Web3 development. It is a low-code development platform for developers to simplify and accelerate the development and launching of web3 applications that may support different types of businesses, B2B, B2C or B2B2C.

By following the market trend and real customer feedback,  we want ML SEED to be served in two ways. 

  • One way is the current where ML SEED  works as BPaaS (Blockchain Platform as a Services)  and customers use their subscription based on token/fiat to create and operate web3 solutions

A way to increase utility will be our Product  BD which is centered on engaging the dev community and advocates to promote our platform. From the technology side we will increase the service offering and staying competitive. Eg pay-per-use for running nodes, usage of API e.t.c at unbeatable price due to Morpheus Ability to rely on multiple infra/blockchain  partners. The pay-per-use will be based on token as utility

  • Another way is delivering  ML SEED  components in a totally decentralized manner based only on wallet and token. The target audience are pure web3/crypto project owners. The advantage will be: easy enrollment (just need the wallet) , and low price entry to use the tool. The go-to-market is wide adoption of this ML SEED decentralized components just like users toda adopted github.
